Rattie loves
While I was in a small pet shop today I started talking to one of the employees about their pets. I then found out that someone had come by the shop a couple days before and had dropped off their retired breeder rat. They didn't know much about his history or his age.
Long story short, I ended up bringing him home. They didn't know what they were going to do with him, so they let me take him.
For the most part he looks like a healthy lad and I am guessing he is between 6-8 months old. He's a fairly shy guy, but we are going to work on that. Since we have all girls at home, it's nice to now have a little boy!
I'm currently on the hunt for a vet to bring him in for a "chop" and check up, so he will eventually be able to mingle with the ladies.
Edit: Any suggestions on how to care for his poor eye?
