Hurt arm

We found our Whiskers is favoring his front paw' his arm seems a bit swollen. Not sure what he did to it. I know should go to the vet but if it is fractured can they really do anything to help that. Obviously pain meds.. but im not sure

Oh, sweet guy. How is his arm? I would wait it out a week unless he’s so hurt he can’t eat or sleep. My mouse wound up with a hurt foot which I cleaned and placed cream on once a day. I made sure to keep the cage super clean. It took a while but after 2 weeks it healed up and she’s fine now. Yours sounds more like an internal injury but im not sure a vet can do anything.
