Well as some of you might know im getting some rats soon, for Christmas. :D and well ummmm i just need some ideas on cages and accesories in the cages if you could show me some pics that would help me out alot.

Thanks :D

I would recommend a martins cage. It can be ordered online. It's great for babies as well as adult. For two rats, make them super happy with a r695, powder coated is a must.
Here's one of mine, I had it customized with a pull out tray and bigger doors:

Here's what a super pet cage looks like but it has wider bar spacing so not suitable for babies or petite females:

Some rats are chewers and may go through a plastic Superpet cage (like my girls did) so of the two I'd choose the Martin! Just in case. I've owned many rats and none chewed through a cage but it may be worth the peace of mind.

Edit: None until my current pair, lol.

I just bought an R695 from Martins... waiting for it to come in the mail.
It looks like the best value for the money.
Rat cages (generally) are expensive anyways, so go for the very best quality you can afford.

Powder coating is a covering over galvanized steel. When there's no coating, the pee on the steel really reeks and it's not a good idea to have rats chewing on the galvanized steel.
It is pricey for a good cage, this is why it's good that a person prepares themselves before getting rats. Put some money away until you have what you need. But even after having the rats, you should keep putting money away so you can save for a vet fund.

Probably not, but the Martin's webpage can give you more of that information. The Martin's people are wonderful about answering questions via email, also.

Unfortunately Martin's does not offer freee shipping, but they're very reasonable in their prices. It ended up costing me $150 to get an R-695 up here, but that inludes shipping and duty at the border as well.
