Are sprouts okay to feed to rats? I got some for myself and was thinking of sharing.
They are clover, cabbage and fenigreek sprouts.

Wow. I just read that link Petunia. That's crazy to think that the sprouts can be bad if the seeds are contaminated. Ugh!
I'm going to go out on a limb and say sure? Cabbage rings a bell - check the forbidden foods...

where did you find this? eep, my kids have had tiny bits of raw red cabbage, it's in one of the salad mixes I get
this is all I can find on the safety of sprouts in general, not specific to pets or rats
I never would've thought there'd be any risk to sprouting seeds but I guess there can be :/

Because it is talking about pathogens on the seeds being dangerous if sprouts are eaten raw
For years and years mine have gotten that red cabbage from those bagged salads. I never saw any issues.oh, no!
