So this is Ruby, my daughter's much loved rat. She recently had a small lump on her left cheek and I've looked online and seen what looks to be something similar (a ZGT?). I've read up about these as I've not any experience with them and palliation is the best form of treatment. I'm curious to know if I am to expect this tumor to rupture at some point?
I would hate for her to suffer. The tumor has trippled in size and is almost the size of her head now. Any advice is much appreciated. She doesnt seem to be in any pain at all and is living life as normal. (She's also eating fine haha she refused to drop the snack as I took the picture)
