I have a rat with (self diagnosed) ZGT. She's had the ever growing lump for 4 weeks and I'm expecting it to rupture the skin soon. I'm trying to find info on how to care for her after this point (assuming she's still a happy ratty). I have pain relief and antibiotics ready.
Do I need to separate her from her mischief? (This would make her less happy)
After irrigation of the would do I need to cover it to reduce the possibility of contamination?
