Put the litter boxes in the area they have chosen to go ... usually corners and at the bottom of ladders. Some people do cover the entire floor with YN or other types of bedding.

Yeah they do their poopoo under the ladder of the first floor. Should I put the litter box there instead?

It's typically best to put the litter box where they already go. I put one on each level of my CN. A large box on the two full sized floors and corner boxes on the smaller levels

YN is great! I used aspen before, and it would only get flung around everywhere and nobody would use the litterbox. Now, since I switched them to YN, I didn't even have to do the potty-training-process. They used it on their own, not one poop outside the litterbox! :happydance:
