I have three males who were all raised together. They are all about 9 weeks.
During free roam especially they chase each other and pin each other onto their backs. However, what worries me is that they let out short, high-pitched squeaks when this happens, like they are in pain.
I also noticed a very tiny scratch on ones nose today--looks like a small bite.
Is this normal?

Completely normal! My four boys even leave small scratches, a rat will leave huge profusely bleeding bites if they want to hurt someone or another rat which is quite rare. My hairless boy however gets beaten up for food so when I feed the rats I take hairless out, feed feisty ones at the bottom them once they’re distracted, give hairless (Fry) food at the very top of the cage. That’s really the only reason my rats will fight tho. They can even get loud while playing and it’s completely normal.
