Weaning of prednisolone!

My girl coco has been on the above medication I would say for a good 5 or so weeks.. she started of with doing a half tablet daily and the tablet is 1mg. She then dropped down to 1/4 of tablet daily and has been like that I would say 3 ish weeks. She is due to now go on metacam for what issue she has, but how do I wean her of the steroid. I need to know very fast please.

you can reduce the amount or give the 1/4 of a tablet every 2 days, then every 3rd day
