Mission Control -- All is ratness
Fellow Ops and Agents,
I regret to inform you that Agent Cleopatra-- better known as Cleo to her squadmates-- has retired from active duty. She will go on to monitor field agent training at our Rainbow Bridge outpost, joining her siblings Chess and Raven.
Cleopatra was a marathon runner. She could often be found in one wheel, pacing herself for the long haul, while her sister Raven went hell-bent for leather in the other. Sometimes they would train together, running in the same wheel. Cleo left no doubt that she was the empress of her domain, claiming the largest and most comfortable hammock office as her private viewing lounge. She was not the most cuddly agent to pass through our halls, but she was loved nonetheless. Forever thorough in her investigations, no sleeve went unexplored, no plush octopus went un-nibbled.
Every agent who joins SHIELD: Rat Division imparts a gift of knowledge to Mission Control. Cleopatra's gift was teaching us that not everyone hates softened lab blocks, and that sometimes it's okay to just hang out "in" the DCN with our agents instead of expecting them to come out to hang out with us.
Her retirement came after long battles with multiple foes-- The Respiratory Ravager, The Mass, and General Why Is There So Much Blood In Your Urine And Why Aren't The Antibiotics Helping. She fought valiantly until the last, but her enemies banded together to overwhelm her. With the help of the Agency's outsourced medical team, she signed her retirement papers this afternoon.
Agent Cleopatra is survived by her brother Rook and her friend Milo. We miss her, we love her, and she will be forever in our hearts.
End transmission
