Tumor popped out

The craziest thing just happened. I found a lump on my male rat just at the top part of his chest. I found it about a week ago. It wasn't attached so I thought possibly a abscess. Well I checked it today and it was outside on the skin with no fur around it. I had my fingers around it looking at it and it popped right out. I couldn't believe it. It really didn't bleed much either. Photo maybe graphic

Ok I was told it's a cyst with the sac around it... I thought it was some kind of tumor..

If you cut it open it should have some cheesy material inside indicating a cyst. It is rare for them to pop out intact though

I did cut it open. It was fleshy all the way through.

wow thats something that doesn't happen often, a localized mass like that. Good thing its out

I think he must have opened it some how. It was basically just sitting inside the skin. I had my fingers around it trying to figure out what it was when I felt a pop. It was only slightly attached to his skin after that. I just peeled it and it came right out. He just about healed now.
