I have to go away for a few weeks and I didn't want to leave my rats at home. The journey will take three hours so I'll be giving them pieces of cucumber to prevent dehydration. We are taking their usual cage and toys . I'm planning to take the bedding, food and toys inside there empty cage with Stormy and Poli in a travel carrier. I'm concerned that they might get stressed so I'll be giving lots of cuddles . Any advice that you could give me to help my ratties?
Thanks

We brought watermelon for mine too, however they didn’t eat it as much. I would say if they aren’t used to their travel carrier walk around with them in it and then take small drives. I put a box in my carrier and my boys mostly slept the whole way. Then once we got to our place we set up their cage for them to feel normal!
