Traveling and need sitter for rats- help!

Hello! I have two boys, both about 7 months. I’ll be traveling to europe this summer from June 29 until July 22. My friend offered to watch my boys but I’m not sure if she’s up for the involvement they need… and if her parents will let her keep them at her house. I doubt there are some pet sitters who would care for rats, if not any, where I live. I think rehoming them before I leave is the best option… but I really don’t want to say goodbye to them. Is temporary rehoming them an option? I’m also worried about the cost of a pet sitter (and if I can even find one in my area) and if they can handle rats since they are considered exotic pets…

If you have some advice please let me know! Thank you!

See if you can find a local ratlovers page on Facebook or something similar if you are looking for ratsitters but your friend might be the best option if they are healthy and friendly boys.
