We'll be traveling for a few days soon and my boys have outgrown the old cage that we used to use on trips.

I did a quick search about travel cages in the forum and just wanted to ask if this would be appropriate and safe for 2 large adults. I saw a thread that a rabbit cage would work, but I worry about the bar spacing and have a fear of their heads getting stuck. Am I overthinking?

Would the "rat playpen with pan" be better?

I like the rabbit cage because it already has a shelf built in. With the playpen, I'll need to rig something up for them. Ideas/opinions?

Thanks!

to me the martin's look better thinking about bar spacing. And it's not their forever cage so it should work out. How long will they be in there?

Thanks for the reply! They'll be in there for 4 days. I like the Martin's better for bar spacing for sure. I'll just need to figure out how to rig a shelf safely for them.
