Tank enclosure?

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to keeping rats, but have kept mice before.

I've previously kept my mice in glass enclosures - it was a great way to watch them do their thing. I learned to convert an old fish tank into an enclosure for my mice here: How To Turn An Aquarium Into A Pet Mouse Enclosure | Rodent As Pet

I wanted to know if it's possible to keep rats in glass enclosures as well, and if so, what tips and suggestions do you have? Also, how many toys should I have in the tank or cage?
