Suprelorin implant in abdomen

Hi

I just had a suprelorin implant put in one of my rats today and I'm shocked to find that my vet placed it in the skin on his abdomen. I have only ever heard of it being placed in the skin of the neck and I'm terrified of it causing problems at this placement. What if it wanders under his skin and it's close to all of his intestines.

Have any of you heard of this placement before?

Hi, I have not heard about those implants. But if your vet is an exotic vet, I would trust him.
