My oldest girl, Pepper, is the first rat that I ever bonded with and one of the first rats that I ever got. She has been my best friend for over a year now and she is what made me love rats. She is my heart rat and I will never have another rat like her. Today, she came over and asked for pets then fell asleep in my lap 
I have never been happier to know that she trusts me and enjoys being around me Pepper is why I own rats in the first place and she is why I will continue to rescue and own rats
