Rats staying in bed until very late?

So usually my rats surface about 8.30-9pm. This is when they start all their daily activities and first say hello. Lately they haven’t been coming out until 10 or 11pm? Is this because of the lighter evenings? Does anyone else experience this with their rats?

Maybe ..... Rats will arrange their sleeping habits to fit your schedule, so they will be active at the times you normally play with them

Rats by nature are actually crepuscular but I have noticed that mine do change with our routine and have no issues with it.
