As you may be aware, the local SPCA took in 18 rats that were abandoned.
They are in cages where many get a direct draft from the outdoors as there is no where else to put them.
I have the opportunity to purchase a double CN for $200 which we could outfit and put at the SPCA for rats,
starting with this group. This cage could be rolled so that it does not get a direct draft blowing on the rats.
The only thing is that we would have to move fast before the cage is gone.
Two of the 18 rats were sent to Saint John, thefriggintribe took in a very badly injured boy, and I took in Christmas - an aggressive one eyed boy. I believe that 3 others have been adopted, leaving 11 rats from this group.
Donations towards the purchase of Harlan Tech 2014 or towards the double CN ($200), a wheel, and pickup & transport of cage, would be appreciated if anyone is interested and in a position to help.
I will post as soon as I have something lined up for donations.
Thank You

You may remember the pictures I posted at viewtopic.php?f=4&t=28090
These rats really, really need good homes .... but improved living conditions while they are waiting would help ...
A few pictures:
his poor little tail
boy 04 - beige self
a very sore looking toe and a testicle that looks cut or scratched
Is it time to go to a new home?
