Rat poison? KINDA AN EMERGENCY.

Hey. So my rat were out yesterday(on accident). And not for long cuz I caught them. But they have both been very jumpy and one has kinda weird breathing. Can you tell me some symptoms/treatment if they were poisoned. This is a rental so I dont know if there is any poison. I can post a vid if youd like.

- but rats can not vomit so do not bother trying to induce vomiting

You may also want to call an emergency vet, and a poison control center

Thanks @SQ, Those are some great resources. We had some activated charcoal lying around(I read in the rat fan club that that's a good treatment) and gave it to them. They are much better and back to their cute annoying selves. I will keep an eye on them this and keep you posted.
