Hi there. My rat cheese has been on doxycycline & baytril for 18 days now for a URI, both givin to him every 12 hours. He's been sneezing every day & i was curious on if the sneezing should've stopped by now? He even has sneeze fits sometimes. i have another rat that isn't sneezing at all so i don't think it has anything to do with dust or the environment. The cage is well kept up with and i have dust free bedding. any suggestions? is it normal for him to be sneezing for this long on antibiotics ? Thanks !

Does he sneeze al day? Is it only inside his cage or when he's out? Try to figure out if there's any pattern. Is it dry versus wet sneezes (congestion)?
it's when he's inside and out. he sneezes about every 5-10 minutes. they're dry sneezes, i listened to him for congestion & it doesn't seem like he's congested. i'm thinking they might be new home sneezes ? but i'm not sure because they started about a couple days after he got here.
