We have a rat who is 4ish years old. She has lost the mobility of her back legs but is still getting around and eating and drinking. Just recently she isnt opening her eyes as much and she has lost a lot of weight. She does not seem to be in pain and still seems happy to see us. I just don't know when it is time to put her down.
