Rat Degloving and partial Amputation.

My rat was degloved and I was told by the vet she’s going to need a partial amputation. Does anyone know how that will affect her balance??

I shall assume its her tail? No it shouldn't affect her balance much, unless its a huge amputation. How long is the degloving?

How is your rat doing now? Rats adapt fairly quickly to new situations with their body, so I wouldn't worry too much about it effecting his balance much, or for long. Good luck with the poor baby!
