Xena passed away yesterday. She had a beautiful burial today. My roommate, who originally was opposed to having rats, fell in love with her. It's been sad and depressing here. Merlin is alone. He's big now.

Thank you everyone. I never imagined such a tiny creature could cause me to cry like a baby. I usually have this tough guy front But couldn't believe.it.thabk you all! I've gotten merkin a new companion. She looks like Xena. I named her Gabriele She's younger. I find myself a bit hesitant to attach But she's well cared and loved still. She's very shy and fear humans.. She's young and hasn't been handled as much But she's finally opening up. ☺
