Animal Rescue Corps responded to an urgent request for assistance from law enforcement authorities in Henry County, Tennessee yesterday. Authorities found hundreds of animals kept in cruel and deplorable conditions, as well as a very young child who was also being kept in a cage.
Over 530 rats, mice, and hamsters found in deplorable conditions (owners are facing felony cruelty charges) in Tennessee. Animal Rescue Corps is seeking shelters to take in some of the rodents. Many are not well socialized but all have been examined by a vet this morning, various breeds/ages/coat colors.
