My rat cheese has been on antibiotics for 18 days now. i posted on here if it would be safe to introduce him to the new ratty since he's still sneezing & i was told it'd be okay since he's been on medication. I introduced & housed together & now i'm noticing my new baby to be sneezing ? i don't know if he could've gotten the sneeze from cheese or if it's something else. please help. thank you

Stress can cause sneezing. And the obvious dust among other things. Rats can't catch a UTI from another, Is the area dusty.? Could pollen be coming through a window.? Is he showing signs of stress with his new cage mate.?

there is something called new home sneezes as well, its a week or so of dry sharp sneezes as a new rat acclimates to their new home. If the sneezing becomes congested or there is other symptoms like excessive porphryin around eyes/nose all day etc, then the newbie is also sick.
