I believe I have grain mites on they boys’ cage. They have a soil substrate but it hasn’t been an issue until now. I think these bugs came from a pack of mealworms which I bought for my leopard gecko and they have somehow travelled over to the cage? We took the boys out and washed all of their belongings, wiped down all the cage and sprayed with a hutch spray, but they’ve just come back with a vengeance. Any ideas? I don’t know how I can throw out all this soil and honestly I’m wondering if they’re living in the cracks anyway?
