It was through cage bars I think it more what he could reach. Because finley will need more intros I am going to keep them going. I will keep john out of them though. John may end up being introduced to the girl then back when I put the girls in. Or I may just keep this up and hope the changes happen fast. I am sure I will have a few more neuters before we get there

I put all the dumbos out and only some of the music men

The two in the back left corner is Bowie and Hoggle... fight
575317_10150876507586409_1697058104_n.jpg

I have decided to not spay the girls on tuesday. Instead I am taking 5 of these boys in for neuters. The lucky ones will be any boy who rubs fights or gets to cocky. I have 11 boys in the one group with 4 neutered. The 7 dumbos are all intact. I think my only hope to get the little girls in there safely will be to get the jerks done first.

So far I have John, Bowie, Hoggle. I am watching to see who else it will be. I will make an appt for dark nose with my vet since he was injured so he will be done on friday. So i will get six done this week. That will give me 10 of the 18 boys neuters which is much better than what i am working with now.

Nope they are just on the floor and my brats don't like to share. I had to put some on the floor to see who the problems are so they showed me lol

I defiently have a brat in my group, well not an aggressive one but a brat nonetheless. My boys like to share my coffee in the morning, but lately the youngest of them, Nes, has been pushing my boys away in their attempts for a sip, or blocking their path from getting to it. I decided to try some tactics Peggy has been using from what i watched in her vids and just dominate him for a moment, placing my hand on him and pushing him down, and of course keeping him away from the others so they can have a sip. He's young and fiesty, not aggressive, he'll settle down im sure later on.

We tried the intros again it has been a week since the neuters so it is a good time to start. I have a feeling this will be a slow process. We have two weeks of switching cages out so that has been happening even during non intro times.

We put them all on the table in the living room. It was uneventful. John behaved himself and no one was injured. He was injured or hurt when i put him out there but I figured I would test his levels since a sore leg could make him more evil but he did good. He some how manage to hurt his leg in the cage.

My daughter the safety zone.

Most of the boys are unaffected by intros so I will have a few I wont worry about.

In the last intros, John attacked Jagger the second he came in the box, today he wasnt puffy nor was he even really upset. I am hoping to do the table for a week then try the floor again by then it is 2 weeks or so since the neuters so hopefully most of the evil stuff is gone.

When i started this we only had 4 neutered boys out of 18. Now we have 9 neutered out 18. In a perfect world i would get them all done but I really one neuter the ones who show problems since it is mandatory to spay any girls that come in here.

I put the boys on the table today for an hour. I have pictures but emtionally I am not in the mood to post them right now. They did very well today for the amount of time and they had box/cage right off the bat. No puffy boys john was guarded a bit but he is having some neuter problems which I will take him to the vet tomorrow. just an abscess I think.

He did allow boys to sniff his parts and you could tell he was a bit on guard when they did it but he didnt react so he had amazing self control.

Tomorrow i will do a brief one when I get off work, I have a full day ahead of me and little sleep tonight since they schedule me stupid hours at work.

it is looking promising though. No one is jumping out as needing a neuter from this group a few humpers but they always settle down usually. I will know more once I get them on the floor. It is so tempting to try the floor but I will resist because they need extra time on the table and a bit more time to heal their evilness LOL

I did do intros yesterday for about an hour, while I cleaned the cage and did stuff around the house had the kiddo watch them :)

Today we were about 30 minutes or so, it was really good they started being more active. I did see some grooming and butt sniffing. George got in a little tussle with Jagger but I missed why, I was taking pictures of my blacked hooded boy grooming one of the other boys.

I have no idea when to move onto the next step. I dont feel like they are ready or close to it. So off to the table tomorrow it is really hard to intro a lot of males, let alone carrying them two rooms away LOL

Yup all 20 in there :)

I am not seeing any puffy boys but yet we had a bit of a tussle and a tuft of hair pulled out. I will have to see how it goes tomorrow, I think we will be on this table for a while.

Eeeeeeeek rat pulling out hair, ouch! but better then bloody biting right? hehe

I wont lie, I am bored with intros. We sit at the table for an hour while they play well while they hide in a box. I have been thinking we are at a stalemate since nothing is really happening. I figured we would test the floor.

The were quiet on the table all cuddled up and doing nothing. I cleaned the rat room today so no rats have been on the floor yet so I decided to see how they would do there. Blocked it all off and put them on the floor. Those intro jitters hit me full force :laugh4: We have 18 boys and one girl. Can you guess who is being humped? Well if you think Cordelia the one girl you are wrong, poor Finley was humped by a few and on his head, his back any way. Kait said "It is kinda sad that he seems used to it." Finley is older than these boys by a lot. Where :laugh4: :laugh4: Finley was a year old in January. These boys were all wee boys in january. I would place them at maybe 7 or 8 months and that goes for both groups of boys.

Finley taunted the boys with his irresistible sexy naked rump...

These guys are so spoiled to having access to their cage, it is almost a scary place for intros on the floor with no cage.

They were all over..

He even humped his head..... Finley still didnt stop eating.
555727_10150906610531409_2135919534_n.jpg

I will still start out on the table and move to the floor......we are not ready for just tossing on the floor yet. But in all it was a really good intro. No puffy mean boys at all.

lol Poor Finley. Is that a tongue I see in the last pic. He's trying to clean up his dirty deed. lol
It's great that Finley realizes that it's all innocent humping. It's really looking good and you are right, the common floor minus cage access is a scary place and can become a source of frustration which is good.

Yes he was licking his head..........nasty boy. I feel bad for Finley, he squeaks but he rarely is annoyed by it. I just cannot believe he takes it like he does with his history of being mean. He must of finally settled down in his old age. I dont understand why him. I can only figure since he was neutered for so long before them. Maybe they smell different to the boys.

I think my face may just break from smiling right now.

We started out on the table. We came to the floor in the rat room. Things went so smooth again. We had errands to do so when we got back. I figured I would see how it goes with no table before and just on the floor. I havent had any real alarms going off since the neuters so I figured we were ok to try it. I have done a 1000 intros so I can judge how it is going.

Just a disclaimer to keep others safe LOL

Of course the table is a typical box o' rats............

Just because Jackson is so damn cute!

I am hoping boss takes the alpha roll. He is a good boy and I think he can handle these rowdy boys. He was pinning Simon and he took ti like a champ!
483951_10150908043506409_1743916829_n.jpg

They were freaking out and I know that can make some boy react in a not so nice way. I put a hidey house down but I dont like not being able to see them.

I took the bottom doors off the cage, removed everything but the ramp, shelf and food bowl. I let them go. That was about 30 minutes ago and now I have a mixed group pile of rats sleeping on the shelf!

No body is angry. The grooming I do see is 100% healthy and you can tell it is just to start showing who is in what pecking order. They are even playing with each other.

This has been a month in the making, we did intros 5 or 6 days worth, been switching cages and we have been sharing floor space. We are so close to being done I am so excited. I will have my monster group. A healthy one this time because most of the boys are neutered!
