Yep, longer intros.... what a bugger. I don't like the placement of that bite.

That was my thought and I thought of the damage it caused Jagger. Shoulder would of been ok but his butt area he seemed not happy to have them in the cage.

Also when you do a move in. Leave it blank. No hammocks for a few hours. I only have litter boxes and food bowl and a blanket to lay on so they cannot own anything right away. I add them slowly if they behave.

The placement of the bite could mean a direct lunge and attack which is not good. But what it could also be a very innocent tug at the tail while Teddy decided to move too quickly. With males and intros, we always go with the bad first and take extra precautions. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Removing all toys and hidey holes is a good idea when doing a move in.

thank you, i never though of taking all their toys away, when they are ready again i will do so. I also got clearer pictures just so you all can see. I will leave them alone today and start intros back on the bed, minimum of one hour, and then maybe in two or three days i will see if they are ready again. I just cant believe i left for 10min and this happened -.-

And here are some videos of the intros that i went back a step, everything seems good to me, but since im new to this i may have missed something, what do you think?

(At one point i did see Teddy grab Bambi's back, close to his tail, and try and pull him a certain way. It was almost the same place Teddy got the slice, maybe Bambi was just pulling him as well?)

(Sorry, the videos may take a while to load, and some didnt at all, so hopefully this is enough to help me, thanks!)

The videos have all loaded. =)

Also from what you see in the videos and pics, do you think Teddy's previous owner told me his proper age? He is about the same size as Thumper and smaller than Bambi. She said he is 6 months old which is double the age of my other boys.

Thanks for putting up with me.

A gash is a slice, the top teeth, meaning they were either looking to groom hard or to yank towards them, more of a dominate alpha move. A bite, two marks, top teeth bottom teeth is a clear lunge bite attack. That would be aggression.
Who is doing the hard grooming in the last video?
The second video you see Thumper digging his nose in the butt of one of the boys, that's how the gash probably happened. An innocent hard groom and the victim moved too fast.
Your boys are only 3 months old? They do all look about the same age.

Thank you so much, it makes me fell better that they where not being aggressive. That is Teddy doing the grooming (he usually does that to Thumper). And yes, Thumper and Bambi are around 3 months, and she told me Teddy is 6 months old, but they look the same age to me as well. Thank you

Sorry again. So since this wasn't a bite, it was more of a alpha move should i continue with intros for a few days again, or should i just let them work it out and move them back in? Thanks for all your patience.

I sometimes have to test the waters a few times before we move onto the next step. The awesome thing is you control the intros so if it isnt looking good you can always go back a step.

Im taking videos as i go, there was only one 'scuffle' i think its called, and i didnt catch it -.- but you can hear it , i was just going to end the video thats why i moved away, but after they did that i put the camera back on them, i will be filming as i go and also putting them up here. So so far after the videos they all settled and are sleeping/grooming. Thumper seemed he got scared becuase he ran aorund like crazy then jumped up and settled in the corner of the cage, i checked him and he was fine. So right now Bambi is sleeping at the top level while thumper and teddy cuddle on the bottom half.

Now, lets say nothing bad happens all day, would i leave them at night, or separate?

EDIT: i come back from getting a snack and they are all in the same house =) going in and out and getting food as well

Sorry to post again. Im not sure what this means, but with in the last 10min Teddy has been trying to groom Bambi, but Bambi keeps rolling over, running or kicking at Teddy with his back legs. Thanks

Sorry i hope im not bothering anyone, but as i said ill update as the day goes

Teddy keep pining Bambi down and grooming him, and also grooming Thumper, making them both make this little sound. Bambi actually stayed down on his side like that for about a minute after Teddy was 'done'.

What do you think?

Bambi is being submissive which is good. He makes that noise well be they do :) those little squeaks are healthy, they are pretty much accepting squeaks. He could be saying he gives you are alpha. He stays that way as a sign of submission. I have a few boys that do that he is gonna be a very good boy.

Looks like teddy will be your alpha, will make sure these boys understand, as long as they do not fight him on it you will have peace. Some boys take longer to get to the submissive point of being pinned by the other boy but the alpha will try force to make it happen, sometimes they will scream. As long as they are not biting and just doing that fleaing motion with their grooming you are doing well.

RIght now they are establishing their rolls and you are lucky they seem to be doing it nicely as well.

Oh, thank you so much, i was a little worried Teddy was being to hard. I decided to just take the cage with me to the tv room as i would feel better, right now all the boys are asleep in the cardboard house, instead of the soft bedding and igloo home XD. Thanks

I though id say everything is going good. Any time they are awake its just eating, drinking and more of Teddy's grooming. One thing though, Thumper seems so scared, he wont come out of him little home, and he only eats if there is food in the house and he hasnt drank in a while. I took him out a few minutes ago and he would squeak and try to get out of my grip, and as soon as i put im back in the cage he ran and hid. Hopefully he will clam down soon. Thanks everyone
