I have decided to get my 2 month old rattie, Remy a friend. I want to get another male rat but I need to know how is the best way to introduce them so they won't fight when they are living together. I also would like to know if I need a big hideout for both of them or two hideouts. Will I need two food bowls or will they fight if they eat from the same?

If all rats are under 12 weeks old, you can just put them together as they are babies and will see a ne rat as a new playmate.
But, quarantine is important so that new rats do not bring in a airborn dangerous disease your current rat could get ....... http://ratguide.com/health/basics/quarantine.php

If any rats are over 12 weeks old, then there are established gradual intro steps. See https://www.ratshackforum.com/threa...ps-used-when-putting-new-rats-together.32368/ Joinrats.com also has ideas

Young rats usually get together with no issues. I would allow them to meet a few times before having them move in. Assess how they are together.
