Merry Christmas from a grateful animal lover here in the UK. I have donated to your paypal, please let me know you got the donation. I've never used paypal in that way before so I hope I got it right! xx
I did and thank so much. That will helpus for sure with it all. Things are a little tight right now. Super hugs to you.

Timmy is doing well. He hit 98 grams so the next day or two he will be at triple digits. His head lifts and spinning still concern me. It looks like his head tilt has completely healed up and is gone. I dont want to miss anything to much has went wrong here lately :( I need a success right now and I am counting on Tiny Tim :)

My tripod Trey is a happy boy now. Lunges at the dog but you can tell he has problems walking. I found a tumor on his front nub. It feels really squishy but at 2.5 i dont know about removing it. We cannot catch a break. I found a tumor on Jazzy as well she cannot have surgery.

Irish looks like he is 112 years old but he will be 2 on 12/27/14. He is turlte's brother and obviously related to my handicap babies and all those litters. I heard the worst noise coming from his cage i found him with excessive porph on his nose and he was trying to sneeze it out. He couldnt use his front paws at all which has been typical with him. He falls down then comes back then falls down then comes back. I am not sure how many more bounces backs he can do. I have been giving them bromo and steroid as needed but I think this is just to much.

He drank so much ensure it wasnt funny. After he needed rubs. He has always been a sweet boy. Loved to give kisses and loves his rubs. As you can tell now is no different.

He even loved me cleaning his face off after.

He is fading fast sadly. I am just about over PT and tumors. I flipping hate them both. I am so tired of watching this.

Timmy looks great! He really does look fantastic. He has a happy life ahead of him and I can't wait to watch him grow and thrive. Awww Irish :love4: I think I'm a little bit crazy about this sweet boy. He reminds me of my Timone. He had PT and I had to nurse and love on him the way you do with Irish. It's always a worry isn't it. Don't you just wish you could watch them all the time and be them constantly to monitor them and nurture them. You just have to do the best you can and enjoy these precious moments xx

I wish I could sneak them to work with me. I would do it in a heartbeat especially when they are this ill. He bounced back today, he is up walking and eating. A little unsteady but hey he has a tumor under his brain he is allowed :)

Timmy is something else. I cannot figure him out, he is busy all the time dont want to sit still. he hasnt gained any weight and I am not sure why he gains every other day but he has been doing just that. tomorrow i think he will be over the 100g mark. he is loving his baby food I told him not to enjoy it to much as soon as he is healthy and at a better size and weight he wont get it anymore but he loves the chicken baby food and banana's. Cracks me up for real.

My dog thinks she is a cat...

Astryd's boys- i still cannot tell them apart. One is a screamer and scared so I know him but the other two are harder to tell visually apart. One boy is more relaxed and lays around the other is always into stuff so i can personality wise who is who but markings not so much LOL but they are going to be huge. Ozzie was about 2 weeks older than they were and a bit bigger, he is now smaller than they are, he will be a small boy but the himi will be big ones.

we are picking up a momma rat that has daddy still with her and the babies. Pray to the rat gods as shelagh puts it because we need it. I cannot send them to the other rescue here they dont vet the rats and i dont think they can handle a bitey momma. so we have no idea how many babies there are but we will find out tomorrow.

I was emailed last night about a momma rat, daddy rat and babies in a cage together. Turns out to be a tank. They couldnt put daddy anywhere so he was still with momma. Momma had 11 eepers last night :) The funny part is our 3 litters we had 2 year ago that started it all the middle litter which was Faith's babies, were born on 12/23 into 12/24 and I am almost positive she had 11 babies. Now 2 years later we have babies born on the same day with the same amount of babies :)

I was told momma was a biter they couldnt feed her without her biting. I picked her up in the parking lot where we met and kissed her nose. I dont think she is a biter girl. Maybe just a scared momma. She is in a bin cage with food and paper towels to build her nest for her wee ones.
Here is daddy, a very young boy. I am thinking 3 months or younger. Very small still.

My momma stayed the night with me last night so she was able to go on the rescue run with me. She seen wee ones for the first time :)

We had a faith, noel, grace so this momma needs a christmas themed name to go with what we did 2 years ago when we went official as a rescue :)

That's pretty cool that things have come around full circle! I'm glad you got this little family.

How about Mary for the momma? What's more Christmas than the ultimate momma? :)

I think mary will work. :)
'
I love how ham was somehow fit in there with all those names LOL

She is a good momma, I manage to get her to take a cheerio and I pet her in the cage, she doesnt trust me at all you can tell she runs for her babies and moves them on me. I think if i pushed her she would bite so I am gonna let her out tomorrow or the next day to spend some time on the couch. I am going to kick timmy out of his cage so momma can have it, I think he is ready for a big boy cage now. Sadly there was no food in their tank so momma is getting baby food as a supplement. The babies are very small but they seem strong.

Merry Christmas Mary! Don't worry, you are in good hands now.
I think any momma would be untrusting of a stranger. She has to protect her babies! If she has taken food from you already, I think she will be fine. Especially if she has a full belly! LOL

It is so sad to see though. The poor thing is terrified of me. When I put her in timmys cage it should be better she can learn to come out and trust me at the door. I will be level and hopefully not a threat. In the bin cage I go at her from above so I am sure that is more scary than the other ways. I just have to figure out what cage timmy can go in. I only have huge cages so he may end up in a large martins cage. I think I can split it in two and it will be safer for him. I am not ready for him to have large cages yet.

Is there still not a group he might be intro'd to? Maybe an older group with mommas to take him under their wing?

he is still under the weight. he is only about 120g and I dont want to chance it with intros. I thought about trying him with daddy, daddy is about 270g but I got scared he would hurt timmy LOL

We lost Cruella today. This girl was always a riot but a hands off kinda riot. If i touched her she would bite. She has been with us since march of 2013. She came in with medusa, patchy, ursula the teeth problem girl, My ella with the big tumors and Cee-cee who died a few hours after her surgery. Ursula and Cruella made cage cleaning very interesting. Both wanted to see me bleed and they did make me bleed many times. Sadly Cruella left us today. Which I dont understand. She was fine last night. I knew somethign was wrong when I was doing foods and she wasnt at the bars.

This show her personality so well. Play hard baby girl.

I made the martins cage up for Timmy and Daddy. Timmy is on top and daddy on bottom.

Mary has the baby cage, I love using this one for babies so much easier to get momma to trust you.

I just have to gain her trust a little but I think she will be a good girl :)

What precious little pinkies :) and momma sounds like she is a sweet loving girl under that fear. Can't wait to see these little guys grow up into great ratties.

Yay Momma! I'm glad she wants to come out and interact. The runt may be little, but still has a good milk belly. :)
It will be a good challenge for Timmy to get used to levels and climbing. Make him stronger and more coordinated.

My handicap babies are two years old now.

Just to keep that one alive.

We lost our maggie today. She has been battling PT since june i believe it was. She was a sister to the handicap rats. PT didnt kill her, her lungs did. Lately we have been giving dex to keep her breathing under control she has been struggling. She lost her battle. She was my mean girl LOL had every bit of momma's attiude. Faith was difficult to introduce to anyone. Maggie was just like her. She would fight any rat that came near her. She was a love bug of all sorts. Such a sweet little girl.

I lost cruella yesterday. So today we are introducing medusa and Elvis, our little half tail neutered boy to the group of 9 girls. I cannot have medusa alone :) And Elvis is needing girls now.

We also moved the handicap bubs in with Irish and katara so the family is back together.

The babies are growing :) the best time is coming, the fur and the little colors. I think they are all black hooded or mismarked barebacks. Daddy is a mismarked bareback I believe and momma is a hooded girl.

We have a couple of runts i am watching and hoping for the best. Momma is feeding them all the time, she is thin but we give her tons of extra foods. I dont think she had proper care before and it will take me some time to catch her up. I have a bigger battle with her nursing now. I am just hoping she isnt pregnant again. Which I keep forgetting about LOL I really need to start weighing her.

I really hope she isn't pregnant :( I couldn't imagine growing babies and feeding babies at the same time...Fingers crossed that this is the last litter for this sweet girl. Those babies are so freaking cute!
