Well we picked up her braces today, they are so cute! we do have pictures and videos of her in it, but ill upload them tomorrow. here is the photos of the braces though. All she has to do now is get used to them over a few days.

She is just getting use to them at 20-30min 3-4 times a day. We slowly will increase the time of her wearing them till she's wearing them any time she's awake.

Just a small update, she's doing erry well getting use to her braces, the only small problem she has is that her foot sometimes slips up, and then she's not walking on her foot properly, but its just a quick adjustment and she's back to playing.

I'm glad Hope is adjusting well!
Are the braces to be worn indefinitely? Or will her legs eventually self correct?

They will only get worst, so she will need it forever.

Is surgery an option to fix things?

No, this is a pretty new "disability" to veterinarians and not much is know. But from what the orthopedics specialist has experienced, braces are the only thing that we can use. No one knows how bad it can get/will get etc

She is very lucky to have someone like you to give her the care and attention she needs!
