One of my rats is lethargic, she is wobbly and will barely walk. She wouldn’t even take a treat but I did get her to eat some yogurt. Her eyes are squinty, there’s excess porphyrin on her nose, and she seems overall very weak and so not herself. I am worried she’s dying (she’s almost exactly two years old). I have two options. Take her to a vet where they can prescribe something/tell me there’s nothing I can do, OR I have someone on hand who can just give me rat antibiotics. HELP: could giving her antibiotics without knowing what’s wrong hurt her?? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you :,(

Can you upload a video to youtube then post the link here? My concern here is PT or pituitary tumour. I have linked an article I created to test for it at home. Offer her a small liight treat and see if she's able to grasp it with her front paws, forgets about it when she drops it etc.
