Hi all,

I'm seeking help with our sweet 2 year old girl. The other morning we woke up and her body was rather limp, and she was squinting her eyes (lots of porphyryn)... nodding off falling asleep constantly. She seemed to me to be in pain, because she is always SO FULL OF LIFE. We thought there was a good chance she may have had a stroke (or pituitary tumor) and rushed her to the vet. They specialize in exotics and have so far been great. She' s had several tumor removals with them. The vet on call didn't think it was a pituitary tumor because she wasn't tilting her head or showing signs she looks for... or a stroke because they aren't common. She thought it may have been some sort of nerve damage from a fall or tumor in another spot like her spine. They didn't suggest having an MRI or anything, and sent her home with prednisolone. We are supposed to watch her for a few days but her coordination is much worse this morning and she can barely walk. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing? It's unbearable to watch. Any input would be really appreciated. We'll take her back to the vet, but we're guessing they will want us to just keep monitoring.
