Hi all, I'm new here but not new to rat ownership. I've been a foster for a small animal rescue for over a year and am currently on my 22nd rattie. This last mischief are 'twilights', meaning they will stay with me because of their age or health. My youngest, Phyllis, is about 9 months old, and Taco is my oldest girl, going on 3 in April. I enjoy the message boards because I learn so much. Thanks for having me!

Welcome. What's the average age of your rats?

Phyllis, 9 months. 3 Shy Boys, 15 months, Waffle, 22 months, and Taco, 34 months. And I'm getting some 4-5 week old babies in about 2 weeks!

Yes, they're not getting any younger but caring for them, I bet, has always been enjoyable. Happy for you that you're getting more ratties. Thanks for replying.
