I have big glass jar like things from a dollarstore that i keep their food and treats in, but i was wondering if I could use it as a sort of house for them sometimes to see how they like it? My boys love little hiding places so i thought they might like it . but i was just wondering if glass is okay? It would be on a bottom level so it wouldnt be able to fall in any way.
Its the jars with the $2 price tags in the back in the first image in the article. Hopefully that makes sense lol

My concern would be ease at getting in and out, if they can be knocked over and break,
as well as air flow and small entrance. For example, they sell plastic igloos for rats with an entrance large enough for 1 rat and the igloo has only a few air holes at the top. Rats have died in these when they get trapped in the back behind their cagemates and can not get out.
