Last call, I need to find homes ASAP for 8 female rats, preferably to go in pairs.
If I cannot find homes soon I’ll have to give them to a pet store and they’ll be sold as food ):

It is from a Kijiji ad.
They are not mine and are about 2 hrs away from me.
The SPCA in their city will only take in cats and dogs and has a long waiting list of animals.
The two shelters near me ( in my city and the neighboring community) also refuse to take in rats etc
There is only one SPCA in our province that will accept pet rats and it is a kill shelter

The ad poster told my friend Maryanne in St. John that all have been rehomed except one. Is there anyone who can do transport to pick the rat up in St. John and bring them to another rescuer in a neighboring city?
