He may be dehydrated, gently pull up on the skin on the back of his neck and let go. If it does not snap back into place, he is probably dehydrated. Try to get him to drink, to eat foods containing water such as his rat blocks soaked in water to make mush, watermelon, baby food, organic soy infant formula - possibly thickened with baby cereal, mix up some baby cereal, ensure thickened with baby cereal, cooked & mashed sweet potato, etc
If he is unable to eat, you can give him rehydration fluid …. 1 drop at a time into the side of his mouth by syringe without a needle, so that it does not go down into his lungs
Homemade rehydrating formula: 10 oz warm water, 1 tsp sugar, 1/3 tsp salt. Mix well, refrigerate extra, warm up to feed.
