My old boy has small semi-dry poops right now. I've given him some lettuce. blueberries and pumpkin puree. He had a good bowel movement but it consisted of the small poops all clumped together. Is this a good sign?

continue adding liquid to his diet in ways like moist food. The small poops are probably from before the diet additions, so keep an eye on them and they should slowly resolve. If he's really old with frail hind end or even hind end degeneration the poops may become malformed and smaller as they age. The anus ages as well and isn't able to form those normal poops anymore.
