Concern with rats eye

New rat owner here! I have noticed a white patch in my albino rats eye which I never noticed before and was not on previous photos. I mentioned it to the vet but she has not expressed concern over it. It looks similar to the problem my Guinea pig had when her eye was infected. It's worth noting this rat has lost one eye (the breeder informed me it was from a scrap with other rats). There is a photo attached. Sorry it is the best I could do he always moves! Is this something I should worry about?

how old is your boy? If its just a silver disk over the pupil it might only be a cataract

He's only a few months old as I just recently got them... the vet asked for a photo which I sent but she never got back to me on it, making me think it's not important?

I am not sure what's going on from the pic. Maybe try a video or try taking more pics?

This is an early stage cataract (they usually develop in older rats over 2 yrs, but youngsters can get them genetically or from an injury.
