cage shelf mods

I have these coated shelves that I got from Dollarama which I then covered with tile , my issues now is that I want to be able to move them around the cage or switch them to another cage if I wanted to. Any suggestions as to how to hold them up :?: right now I have them on with wire, I need something that is strong enough to hold the weight of my two boys because they sleep on it and eat off it sometimes . but mine aren't as deep and are plastic coated with little screw holes along the edge. I need to do mods because we are taking them on a trip this weekend :roll: Thanks

Try cable ties, those are super strong and aren't easy for rats to chew once they are cinched tight.

I think your best bet is cable ties but if you want to move them around, you'll have to cut them and add new ones.

I use cable ties for those shelves as well. Just use the smaller ones so they are easier to cut through.
