A reason for post getting cut off

I just discovered that if I used a special character like an 'e' with an accent, the post got cut off at that point. Once I eliminated the special character, the rest of the post stayed.

Yes, that's exactly what happened to me! I was commented on one of your posts with Tachee (with her accent), I think. I tried twice to finish the post, then gave up.

Ohhhhh you might have answered a burning question I had as well...my keyboard is a wannabe frenchman...keeps switching over...so I wonder if the french letter cut off those posts...thanks Joanne!
