30 + hamsters- Updated pictures omg baby hammies!

We welcomed 7 new babies in last night. I moved the one I thought was pregnant into a bin with a younger buddy. I am trying to break the mommas up so we dont have so many in one cage and just a few hours later she gave birth.

My little diva girl. She wont be going anywhere I can already tell. She is super spunky and just happy as can be.

just born they are so tiny it is unreal......

This morning they have milk bands so momma is doing good.

keep your fingers crossed that the two younger girls are not pregnant. I dont even know how many babies the other momma has... She has them hidden in a nest so we cannot see them at all. I am hoping it is a small litter.

Well one momma had 7 babies.. diva is a good momma, she is fine with me and I can pick her up and hold her. we are not touching her babies yet since they are still a little young. I am waiting till their eyes open then we will touch them.

the other momma had 2.. I named her Cybil since she is nuts....... She will attack my hand if i hold her or pick her up. I still do it she has to adjust to me holding her and her babies but she is really a crazy little thing. The reason I dont have hamsters LOL she is the total poster child for that.

I have all the boys and girls split up and I think we are almost done with baby watches. We have 4 girls in one tote, 5 boys in one, two single males for now, momma and 2 babies and momma and 7 babies. Thankfully we are almost done with babies. A few weeks and we can split these guys up too.

I cannot believe how tiny they are. Its really a shame hamsters cannot live together like ratties. Although our last two winter white dwarf hamsters did live together for two years and never harmed each other - we lucked out there.

Most can, dwarf hamsters are more able to live in groups than others. but they are so small and omg so cute LOL i cannot believe their babies are as small as they are.

Oh, I fall UP them all the time!! I just deleted a blister picture I had from a hot glue gun - it was huge!!!

LOL it wasnt a smooth move on my part but I saved the stuffing it stayed up right but my finger was burned to save it.

I was thinking it is some of the bigger hamsters that are loners like the syrians and so on. I know dwarfs introduced young enough can live together. but they can end up fight. I dont know why that just popped in my head about the bigger hammies. LOL

I named this girl Diva... she is something else. Loves to crawl on you and so on. She just so friendly. She had 7 babies and one is satin. So shiny! I just seeing her... beyond cute.
