My boys have made me a bit sad right from the start because they showed no interest in hammocks and I do, after all, make hammocks *sigh*
In fact they've seemed a bit afraid of them or afraid of being too far off the ground.

they have gotten into a few of the hammocks I've made them but hopped out a few minutes later and would only sleep in them if I took them down and put them on the floor of the cage.

and then we get your lovely Rat Stash. I hung up last night, and except to pee and grab some grub, the boys have not left it as far as I can tell.
Each time I check on them, that is where they are!!

You can see the peace sign burrow hammock I made that has been hanging there, right beside yours, but never used

thank you so much!! your hammocks are the best!

@ Petunia: lol, my rats treat my hammocks the same way. Only a few of my own designs that they truly gravitate towards, and for awhile they I had some that simply did not seem to like hammocks, go figure. You've got stunning girls there. I've always loved the himis. <3

lol... had to edit to add... lovely *boys*. don't feel badly, I've been calling our new male cat "she" all week. Whatever they are I always get it wrong. :p

Wow violet976 thats a lot of sewing and such amazing quality and beautiful prints.
I'd love hammocks like that but I'm afraid I'm not too flush right now plus I imagine postage to the UK would be rather costly.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful hammocks with us! <:3 )~~~

Definitely a lot of sewing but some of these were photos from last week which I hadn't posted yet. If you ever need a shipping quote, you can add an item to your basket on the website & it will allow you to calculate shipping, just to give you an idea. If you'd rather save some funds and attempt to deck out your cage yourself, here is my Pinterest page filled with do it yourself cage/toy ideas and hammock tutorials collected from around the internet:

Aren't those fantastic? I recently began sewing those for Guinea Pig Market and I adore them. I even have a few of my practice ones needing to be grommeted so I can use them in my cage. <3

I was just thinking rats would love those too!

wow you're doing a massive amount of sewing!
I can't wait to get back to sewing, once I get my eye surgery.

Yes, it's become even more than a full time job as we're playing catchup right now at Guinea Pig Market. I'll be out of debt soon though and I get to work from home and set my own schedule, so it's completely worth it.

I hope your eye surgery goes well. I would be so very nervous about that.

My ratties definitely want to try a private bathroom, and they are demanding a new set of liners. Once you've caught up and had a good break over Christmas, you can expect to hear from me.

I was aiming to sew these for Guinea Pig Market since they had requested them for wholesale, but I got the go ahead to sew them on my site as well (we try to avoid direct competition with one another). I went ahead and added the Corner Curtains to the website. They are price matched to Guinea Pig Market since these are an item I primarily sew for their shop, and Guinea Pig Market will carry a larger selection of patterns with expedited shipping of 1-3 days.

I also added one new fleece print that I've had tucked away in my closet and had forgotten about:

& should have this great new print in a few weeks, so be on the lookout. ;)
