My family dog who was turning 17 on May 25 passed by injection on Friday. My mom said he had a seizure (this is the 2nd in a couple of weeks) but now he was vomiting blood, was confused and disoriented. I always said I wanted to go home and see him because I knew his day was fast approaching but...

Here's what it looks like now. You can kinda see there is still a tiny black spot left. I dosed them Friday with Revolution. Maybe it was one that died?
One of my ratties had a strange, hard black worm type thing on the end of her ear today. It was really small, only about a cm in length. I was able to pull it out cuz there was a bit at the end sticking out. It was hard and fell apart in my hands when i crushed it. Her ear bled a bit where the...
Haha, you think that is bad? The grocery store here has a brand (Kroger) and it is usually pretty cheap (less than $2) and because this is the USA, you have tonnes of flavours. I swear we went through 4 kinds in 3 days, lol.
Ya, the kitty has ear mites and fleas. I found a flea on Roxi a couple days ago and bathed her with flea shampoo and ordered some Frontline for the cat and dog.
I'm in luck with the Revolution! Roommate has some for her cat and she gave me a bottle. :joy:
Great thanks. :)
I got a super good deal for Frontline on ebay that I can use on the cats and dog, it's just too bad i can't use it on the rats, it would have saved me a tonne of money!
Hey now that you mention it I think it was revolution I used.
I'm not entirely sure they have mite and fleas but I'm dosing them as a precaution.
What abut ivermectin? I can get it at the Tractor Supply store.
Do you need an RX for revolution?
*edit* Ok, revolution needs an RX and I don't...
I need to treat all of my pets (including rats) with frontline. Anyone know the dosage for 2 adult females? I am using the dog frontline which is different than the cat frontline (cat frontline has more of one additive and is toxic to rats).
The vet told me he is 4-5 weeks old and too young for flea meds. He needs to be at least 8 weeks old. But, the nurse said 7-8 weeks.... he only weighed 1.3 lbs on Saturday but probably weighs more now.
