    Chronic Fungal Infection.

We treated Gretchen with Baytril for 2 weeks because of some sneezing and while waiting for the result of the skin swab. We then started her on Cephalexin. She didn't show any sign of improvement with Baytril but it sounds like that sort of skin problem can only be resolved with long antibiotics...

    Chronic Fungal Infection.

Gretchen has been diagnosed with staphylococcus intermedius (staph) and her skin looks like your picture no 1. We are treating her with Cephalexin. We are on day 6 and so far we didn't see much improvement, but it's something you can try (I didn't see it in your list)...

    Ultrasonic and Electromagnetic rodents repellent

A lady from the bat charity was here earlier on and it's bad news. A very annoying sound is coming through to our flat. The girls/boy are not freaking out about it but I can imagine it must affect them. I listened to that sound only for few minutes and it was already annoying me. The poor things...

My neighbours who live on the two flats above ours think have mice and they have started to use ultrasonic and electromagnetic rodent repellents. Tomorrow a representative from a local bat charity is going to come round with a bat detector to see whether those devices can be heard by our...

    Manuka Honey

It's one of the things that my vet recommended for Gretchen who is having a bad time with her skin. Somebody at work recommended that too, but I don't know anybody who has actually tried it on a rat.... Today I bought it from the health food shop and I put it on Gretchen. Finger cross it will...
