scared of future rats biting/scratching me

No he is not in the city but close enough, and I already mentioned endorsed by your own forum. I also know where my vet learned about rats, and a lot more that you don't know. I was actually bursting to share, but the problem is for some reason I get shot down every time I mention him, by...

scared of future rats biting/scratching me

As your knowledge hasn't particularly impressed me so far SQ, I wouldn't trust your lists of things and therefore have to go with my vet' assessment over yours, seeing as he has an actual real education. Not to mention he has been to "that breeders"/ that rescue's home, treated their...

NO NEED TO EDIT. EMERGENT RATTERY IS A RESCUE ALSO. THANKYOU

scared of future rats biting/scratching me

No need to shout :) Being educated and fair minded, the censorship seems a but paranoid to me :) My vet (who is endorsed on this forum?) told us Emergent was a rescue long before she became a breeder, and has known her for 20 years. He said she 's the only Rescue in Ontario that tests...

What china study? Can u post the link?

scared of future rats biting/scratching me

With your concerns, your best bet is an ethical rescue or breeder. I may be wrong but from what I know the biggest concerns with pet rats are Rat-Bite -Fever, and Seoul virus, which affect only certain people with immune disorders. Our rat "guru" Emergent Rattery (who also suffers from...

Never use dawn dish soap on rats

What a bunch of baloney. I hate it when people present propaganda from shopping sites as fact. Having studied chemistry in high school, I can assure you everything we see touch taste or smell is "filled with chemicals"...

Tempting things to help wear down teeth?

No there isn't. Emergent Rattery was beyond highly recommended by my vet (who has 7 rats form her), and 3 other vets on her website. He says the best breeders he knows get gossiped about the most.

Tempting things to help wear down teeth?

Weird SQ. I didn't understand any your private messages. They just didn't make sense. Our vet who recommended Emergent Rattery to us is a repeat client over 15 years. Dr Gerald couldn't say enough good about Emergent, and so we adopted 2 sisters of the boys he just bought for his...

TTR's 2018 Multi-Rescue World Rat Day FB Auction

OK, I see these are all in the US now, and one out west. I thought there were more around here honestly, or should be

    Rats constantly sneezing?

You should ask Emergent Rattery. They might not even charge you. They helped us with our sick rats , and the sneezing stopped in I swear 24 hours. Being a student, we can't really afford hundreds or thousands more in vet bills. Emergent Rattery (Charla) helped us with our aggressive...

    Is Atlantis Rattery Closing?

pay them back for what? Sorry. What is a hospice rescue?

    Is Atlantis Rattery Closing?

No thanks, we already got 2 rats and 2 rescues from Emergent Rattery. That is enough for us.

Tempting things to help wear down teeth?

Honestly I'd never given it a second thought, and maybe nutritional anthrpology was/ wasn't a separate course, but recovering nutritional profiles form bone evidence is part of both social and evolutionary anthro disciplines.

Tempting things to help wear down teeth?

What doctor? Do you know this doctor personally? Sorry SQ, I like you a lot but as I was repeatedly told this is was a forum to find accurate information, I must regretfully correct you. NutritionFacts is one of those "Pseudoscience" sites my first professor at University told us...

    Black Rice

Your welcome. Being Asian, Black Rice is a staple in our culture. It is very cheap in my country. I am so angry about the prices here.

Tempting things to help wear down teeth?

Not to say pumice is good or bad, but apparently the hard food is enough to wear teeth down. It's true what they said about rats keeping their own teeth down by chewing the cage and toys, as well as grinding them together. Maybe if you fed only mashes, you might possibly need extra hard...

    Black Rice

More than just a filler food for fat pets... If you've never heard about "The Forbidden Rice", it's a delicious and nutritious snack for rats (and their owners) alike. Black rice has higher amounts of antioxidants. It is also a source of fiber and minerals, including iron. A 100 gram serving...

Tempting things to help wear down teeth?

Who told you this? From the information you have providing, it don't sound like you know them. Our breeder (and rescuer) is Emergent Rattery. They also come up as Zen Rattery in searches. I don't know who you are thinking of?
