Not letting go of my finger?

Hello, So recently one of my boys, Cap, has gotten into the habit of grabbing my finger when I've got the cage door open and not letting go. Sometimes he'll sniff or lick it but a lot of the time he just holds it and stares up at me. I've even tried gently pulling my finger away and he wouldn't...

    Scent marking and acceptance?

Thanks for the heads up! My boys just drop a few drops as they crawl over me, 3 of them do it but all 5 of them live together. I'm finding they're not marking my skin as much and now tend to do it on my clothes which is kinda nice as I can just change after play time. None are neutered but...

I haven't read up much on scent marking but I assume that this means they are beginning to accept me (especially when they go out...

    Greetings from Toronto!

Hello! I am new to the forum and new to pet rats. I currently do not have any pet rats but hope to get some really soon :) I reside in Toronto, Canada and wanted a pet that's crepuscular as I have a work schedule that has me changing my sleep cycle between days and midnights weekly, that's...
