    Reopened Surgery Incision

They closed the original incision with those disovable stitches I had to drop her off due to them not having any availability open on Saturday. They restitched her up with three layers gave me buphnex pain killer to give her along side SMZ antibiotics and metacam and then gave her staples which...

    Reopened Surgery Incision

Alright yeah I decided against that in the end as well no way I could get to sit still enough and I was too afraid of it to get in her wound and cause worse damage. I've tried body wraps and failed she just squeezes out of them the best thing I've been able to do is just is just go on watch with...

Rat bite fever? In the news ...

Yeah but pit bulls get bad rap all the time though people just kinda let them blow over if it's not directly involved with them but rats there hasn't been much people can say about then disregarding the wild cousins. It seems like EVERYONE is buzzing about how a kid died to a rat bite now

We are totally freaking out over this mess. Specially being so close to California. As a rescue with a ton of adoption events coming up this isn't good at all I hope it blows over but so far no we've been trying to take the approach "adopts don't shop" to help keep down the surrenders apparently...

    Adoption Event Booth.

Yeah we have a sign I wish I'd know for certain if there would be a plug in there because I though bringing a DVD player or electronic picture frame to do slides with all of our successful adoptions we will have rats there trying for most of them. I like the appropriate cage idea just set up so...

    Been Away Awhile

Sorry I haven't been on in forever it feels like. I took the time I stepped back from this amazing forum to become more involved with rat rescues in my area. I've recently became part of the major one in the Reno Nevada area. I think I was so blind to the needs of rats from being neglected...

With her living on a 16th floor wouldn't a kitten be more suited to her? It wouldn't need to be walked and is alot more independent then a dog with her issues if she falls and have to go to the doctors for a couple of days as long as there is food and water a cat can make it a dog depends on its...
