    Wild Baby Rescues, Please Help!

Definitely looks like a baby rat- but OP do you live in an area with only norway rats or also roof rats? What did the vet think roof vs. Norway? This will determine care going forward.

    Wild Baby Rescues, Please Help!

Please keep us up to date. I'm currently raising my wildlings and it has been such an amazing, eye opening ing journey. I'd love to follow along with yours, too. In terms of meeting your other females- too young. Not safe. I know with lone baby wilds they reccomend that you intro them to a...

    Orphaned wildlings need help ASAP

FIVE WEEKS of Evermore and Folklore. I honestly can not believe that these girls have made it. They bring me so much joy. Folklore was 11g when I adopted her. She is now 44g!!!! Evermore was 12g when I adopted her. She is now 54g!!!! My girls are survivors! Tiny little souls that should have...

    Orphaned wildlings need help ASAP

I am SO happy about it. And there was so many prints, I absolutely love the moon phase fabric I picked out- and that the owner was able to add a zipper because they normally have an elastic top. Honestly they customized so much and I am thrilled. I normally have a baby in a carrier on my back...

    Orphaned wildlings need help ASAP

Folks!!!! Look at this! I ordered a custom bonding scarf for the girls! The seller was so so so good and accommodating. They let me choose fabric, size, add a zipper, etc. It can be used to carry the girls around the house or outside safely- or even just to help ensure they remain friendly and...

    Orphaned wildlings need help ASAP

Our days as hairless rats are coming to a close! End of an era. Folklore(2nd pic) weights about 41g. I'm not 100% sure because when I put her on the scale she kept leaping back into my hand LOL. Evermore ( pic 1) is 49g and as usual was super cooperative for her weigh. Girls will be 5 weeks...

    Can rats eat hay?

I mean you can give it to them but they aren't going to eat it more than a nibble. Rats are not herbivores that need long fiber to digest. Good info for a rabbit or GP, not for a rat. I'd see if there are more knowledgeable rat vets around.

    Wild Baby Rescues, Please Help!

I am not sure how I missed this post! I hope things are going okay. The older babies ai would attempt to rehab and release. They should become a bit wilder if you minimize contact. The four younger ones will likely imprint heavily if they survive. I have a thread going on here you can look for...

    Orphaned wildlings need help ASAP

I probably won't get one unless one around the age of my girls happened to fall into my lap. I'll just put that out into the universe, and see if the universe delivers 🤣

    Orphaned wildlings need help ASAP

Folklore and Evermore are doing amazing 😍 Pigmented patches are showing up on yeti skin where new fur is growing up. I thought Folklore was weird from the bottle as she spent most of one day refusing, but she is back on the bottle now. I try to give only about 4 or so bottles a day now, but...
